TIME - Thurrock Impartial Mentoring Engagement Service

Open Door’s mentoring service for Children and Young People who have previously been reported missing.

The project commenced in May 2017 and is funded by the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation for 3 years.

Having a mentor gives you an independent, supportive and confidential person to speak to about whatever you want.

We do not tell you what to do or what to say, we help you achieve what YOU want and YOU set the agenda.

We understand that to move forward in life and to get through difficult times can be really challenging. Having a mentor can help you feel less isolated and more in control of your life.

Obviously we want to make Mentoring an enjoyable experience and so we have flexibility to go where you feel most comfortable. We can grab a drink or a bite to eat, go on activities, learn new skills with your Mentor. You choose!

Sessions last about 1-2 hours, we can pick you up, drop you off and it will not cost you anything.
